Im gonna start working on another site soon. This time Im going to build it on WordPress.org- hosted through Godaddy.  It will be about my expereinces with foreclosures.  Unforutnatly, I have had several run ins with foreclosure, eviction for a foreclosed rental , getting served by the process server ,and dealing with the constable.

In the past year, we have had 2 terrible landloards who BOTh went into foreclosure. They BOTH took my our money and did not send it to the mortgage company. They were BOTH in financial trouble when they reneted the houses to us, several monthe behind on payments. They BOTH knew that I would not be able to live in the houses for long. They BOTH lied.

I’m gonna Blog about it. Oh.. and the house in now. The second cruddy-landlord- house is scheduled for Trustee Sale December 12th.

We are gonna try to stick around. I hear that the banks sometimes pay people to leave without destroying the property.  Or even better, maybe the new owner would like some decent tenants and allow us to stay on.

The number of visitors to my site has been steadily climbing. Im averaging about 40 unique visitors a day.   My husband and I decided that if I were to increase our production to 25 sites, each earning $5 / day that would be $125 / day in adsense alone.

Once the sites are actually created, the rest of the work would be in bum marketing and seo. Its 3:01 am. Im so tired and my mind is racing. So many ideas.

I also have 3 actual web design projects from which I have collected deposits and am obligated to work on.  This is really starting to get overwhelming. I need to get organized before I get sunk.

Ok , This is gonna be a short post becasue I gotta get back to work.  BUT I finally started making some money with adsense.  I put ads on one of my sites and since Tuesday I have made money!!!!! Im not supposed to say how much. Its chump change but its mine!

Now I know its not much but to me its the BEES KNEES!

Im so excited I can barely type.

I have been steadily getting traffic too. Slow.. but steady.  I posted on a wahm forum and got 22 visitors that day. I’ll do it everyday from now on.  I have my website in my sig line and people came and clicked.

So from here on out, I will be posting about my adsense sites and how I develop them. I find that I cannot run after every direction of the wind.  I found somethinig that works, I made my first dollar online and Im gonna magnify my efforts to increase my results.

I also got another web design job for a local real estate company.  I like web design , but I love internet marketing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay me!!

The words “ALCS”, “TBS.com”. “Who owns TBS” ” TBS phone number” All came up. I couldn’t create an entire blog about that.

On the Warrior Forum there was an EXCELLENT article about article marketing and niche research.  The OP posted that if you follwed his directions for 30 days and DIDNT get thousands of trafiic to your site in 30 days he’d pay $100.

So either way I win. Either he’s gonna pay me $100 or Im gonna get thousands to my sites with adsense  on them and maybe get a few clicks.  All I really need is one click.  I figure if I can get one, Im doing something right.

He even explains how to use SEO toolbox to find the perfect niche.  The topic was created today on Warrior Forum. Im to lazy to do the link right now but you can find it.

I will post which keyword I chose, my domain and how I plan to implement. He did mention writing 100 articles though…

On an other upbeat note,  I got two more web design jobs.  I actually had to turn down two this week.  One was a religious thing, the other was for a porn portal.  But the point is– my ads are working!

We got a notice in the mail about 2 weeks ago that the house we are renting is scheduled to be foreclosed on December 27th. At first I was pissed off, because this is the SECOND rental that has gone into foreclosure.

( Landlords–be upfront with your tenants-you know when you rent the house that your behind on your payments-but anyways…)

Anyways, I have written 3 articles for this site. I think Im gonna promote it a different way becase I cannot write another article about IBS. Im just not that interested. And besides, its a medical conditiion–its way too technical for me.

On a side note, I realize that I have been all over the place. I think I own 9 websites. Everytime I new idea floats past me I create a new site. I’m like a chicken with her head cut off. I need to focus on one thing and pursue it. But thats what happens when your broke. Out of desperation, you start chasing every notion. Theres no time to mull anything over.

Over at the Warrior Forum website, one poster wrote an interesting post called “Who Wants to Make Money Right Now…Yes,Right Now?” He’s speaking my language so of course I read it.

Basically he explains how to find a hot niche using Google Trends and monetize a blog based on that subject. I have decided to do what he suggests everyday for the next month. I love his idea because it completely excludes ezine writing from which I need a break.

His very informative article can be found here. This time I am determined to do two things. Number one, I’m gonna do exactly what he says, number two, Im gonna post about it every day. Since I have made this commitment to my blog, I’m holding myself accountable. 30days from now, there will be thirty more posts.

One good thing happened to me today. I had to turn down a web design job because it goes against my principles, but I got a CAKE job simply installing a contact form on another guys site.

I found this one article a few weeks ago. Its called ” How to make your First Clickbank Sale” Basically he suggests wrtiting a ton of articles.  I followed the Simple SitesBigProfitsMethod and I created a mini site.  I couldn’t afford to buy the program so I just looked at all of his free videos, the sites he suggested, did some more research on mini sites and pooled my knowledge. Im probably missing some major point but I’ll figure it out soon.

The topic I chose is something I can certainly relate to–Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS.  The site is called “Natural-IBS-Cures” just in case anyone wants to critique it. So now, I am writing articles to promote the site and joining forums to do the same.  Back to Click Bank article– So he suggests writing ten articles a day! I dont know all that much about IBS but Im certainly going to try to do the best I can. He says within three weeks I should be able to see a sale.  All I need is one sale to lift my spirits. I read something thatthis mega internet market oce said.  I cant remember hs name, but you all probably know him.  It goes something like this: ” When you make your first dollar online you are 90% on the way  to making your first million”.  I’m pretty sure I botched that up, but I get the point. The  first $1 gives the momentum to keep on going. Ten you tweak what youve done to make more money.  I will be so  ecstatic when I make my first dollar. So I have another Idea, Im working on . Its a product I developed that only sells for $1.

Something just occurred to me. You see how my posts jump from one subject to the next . That’s exactly  how my mind works. Its incredibly difficult for me to stay on task which might have something to do with my lack of success so far. I am in Week 4 of my new Internet Marketing Venture, and the only money Ive made is from my web design business which is taking off( I have 4 jobs right now) and my slow slow , ebay sales.  I don’t even look at my Clickbank account anymore because its too depressing.  Maybe in a month or two I will.  There’s just something about all those zeroes.

I had a briliant idea for a blog post but I forgot.  It’ s  been over a week since I last wrote and initally I had decided to update daily.

Why was I sidetracked? I got a job! Yeah me!  I put some ads on Craigslist for some very inexpensive web design and I got three calls.  1 panned out and earned me $400.  It took 5 days with very little sleep. If we didnt have to pay the rent I would have purchased Site Build It. Its a company that helps you to get your own website listed at the top of the search engines. 

But Oh well.  The guy really like his website and said hes gonna refer me to some of his clients so maybe Ill get more work. 

Back to affiliate marketing.  Theres really been no new updates.  I found out about a $3 matrix.You only have to invest $3 which is right up my alley. We found out about it on YouTube.  Most everyone said they started making money the first day or 2.  I think you make $1 for the first 2 referrals and $.12 for each referral after that. You make most of the money on your downlines effort .

Sometime I hear people say that people on welfare are lazy. Thats not entirely true. Sure , some people are, but not all of us. I’m not. I actually have a low paying full time job ( I guess it pays not to drop out of college senior year) .

I don’t even like using the word welfare it sounds terrible. But the more I hear it , the more I want to do something about it my situation.

My family has been receiving state aid on and off for the past ten years. Sometimes when work is really slow for my husband we’ll apply for health insurance for the kids sometimes we’ll apply for foodstamps too.

I really hate that. Its so embarrassing. First of all, the case workers really treat you like crap. They act as if they are so much better than you. It’s really demeaning. The only reason I go is because I know my children need insurance. So I suck it up. I sit in the grimy gray office and wait for my name to be called. I tell the cw my sob story, “hubby laid off again”, “business is slow”, whatever the case may be. I usually feel like crap when I leave .

About 3 weeks later we have a Arizona welfare card loaded with about $5oo for buying a month worth groceries. We also get insurance cards in the mail . It’s bittersweet. As much as I appreciate the assistance I can help but wish we didn’t need it. I’m somewhat prideful.

The last time our assistance expired was about a year ago. I’m on the fence about applying again. I had to take my baby to the ER about 2 months ago and now we have a 3,000 medical bill. If I had Kids Care at the time ( AZ health care containment program) that bill wouldn’t exist. But like I said, I’m prideful. I hate giving the state all that personal information. I feel like somehow they control me. So now we have a big medical bill, the kids are uninsured again and I’m more determined than ever to turn this thing around.

OK, so what is the point of this blog. Its not a virtual pity party.  I do have skills. Lots of them.  Ive been ebaying for the past ten years so I know a little bit about coding and can design web pages. Im only 6 credits short of my Bachelors degree. Im not uneducated and ignorant if thats what you think. Ive just made some poor decisions in my life.

Oh yes.. the point!  The point of this blog is to chronicle my struggle out of the mess we’re in and the document the steps we are taking on road to financial independence.

About 2 weeks ago, my husband came across a website called 2createawebsite . The site owner Lisa has some really informative article and videoa bout internet marketing. I realized that I have been wasting my time selling used clothing on ebay and decided to concentrate my efforts into affiliate marketing.

Thats the purpose of this blog.  Affiliate marketing is going to get my family off of state aid for good. Only problem is where do I begin.
